Understanding Qigong:
Qigong, pronounced "chee-gong," is an ancient Chinese practice integrating gentle movements, breath control, and meditation to nurture and harmonize the body's vital energy, known as "qi" or "chi." This comprehensive approach to health and wellness has been revered for centuries and seamlessly fits into modern living, particularly with the accessibility of online instruction.

Qigong's Alignment with Chinese Medicine:
Qigong is intricately intertwined with Chinese Medicine, a holistic system that perceives the body as an interconnected network of energy channels. By facilitating the harmonious flow of qi, Qigong seamlessly aligns with the tenets of Chinese Medicine, striving to prevent and address imbalances before they manifest as ailments.

In this 2 day workshop, we will explore movement in stillness with both Qigong and Qigong Infused Yoga™. 

Wednesday April 24th: Qigong as Movement in Stillness

Join Lynne Nicole to learn more about the philosophy and meaning of Qigong which will provide you with a deeper appreciation and understanding  of the practice.  

Part 1: Gaining a Deeper Understanding of Qigong

  • The Yin/Yang/T’ai Chi symbol 
  • The 9 phases of Chi Cultivation: Different ways you can work with LIFE ENERGY to cultivate healing and health on all levels.
  • The practical ways we can use Qigong to alleviate chronic pain, to relax, to connect with spirit, etc.   Let’s bring this into our life and expand our self-care tool-box.

Part 2: Seated or Standing Practice (ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE)

  • Breathing techniques for both energy and relaxation
  • Tranquil Qigong Flow for Inner Peace
  • Walking Meditation with beautiful music (can be modified in a chair)
  • Self-Massage and Acupressure for Self-Care
  • The Inner Smile Meditation
  • The “I AM Meditation”
