Mata Urmila Devi is a dynamic spiritual teacher and a mystic, poet, author and performing artist. She has deep insights into Indian-Vedic philosophy, yogic psychology and techniques, e.g. breathing and meditation as well as Self-Awareness processes.

Her depth of Self-Knowledge and deep surrender to the Divine unfold the Sacred and Secret Wisdom of Divine Mother Tripura Sundari, among others, for Self-Realization resulting in Deep Healing for the Soul.

She has over 30 years of experience in consulting and teaching, travelling to more than 40 countries – North Amerika, Middle East, Europe, South and Southeast Asia, and Africa. She worked closely together with H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar establishing Art of Living Foundation in Europe and served as the senior most teacher from 1989 to 2012.

Mata Urmila Devi is born in Uttar Pradesh (North India) in rich spiritual surroundings. From her early childhood, her parents introduced her to the world of meditation, yoga and Ayurveda as well as the ancient Vedic scriptures and Sufism. Thanks to the spiritual commitment of her parents, she had the opportunity to meet many great saints of India in her childhood.

Now she devotes her time to consulting for Self-realisation and personal transformation. She offers workshops, Satsangs and poetic performances and writes on timeless spiritual wisdom. The depth of her personality leaves a lasting impression on the minds of those who meet her.

Her music albums "Sacred Chants of Shiva", "Sacred Chants of Krishna - Mukunda" and "Anahat" are played in spiritual circles worldwide with great honour and joy.
